And now... some mini paintings on woodblocks!

As I'm working with recycled wood these days, and I love painting on wood, I took some little woodblocks and transformed them into little artworks...

Here's AT NIGHT , my first one

Siccome sto lavorando sul legno riciclato in questo periodo e siccome adoro disegnare e dipingere sul legno, ho preso questi blocchetti rovinati e li ho trasformati in piccole opere d'arte...

And this is one of the places of my childhood :

a medieval "Borgo" full of beautiful buildings of the past including a wonderful baroque church and a medieval cloister where I looked for refuge from the world and sat for hours reading or contemplating the beauty and the peace surrounding me..

At home

This is a lovely mixed media picture with lace and lots of collage.

It's about the feeling of contentement and joy of being "at home".

Everyone has a different concept of being at home, be it an internal well being state or a physical place to be in. For me it's both. And in those rare moments of being in the moment and in the place, I feel connected to my inner source of joy.
